A few years ago the Bradley School acquired a brand new schoolyard with hopes of expanding physical activity at our school. We were greatly excited to have been one of the lucky schools to now have the BOKS program.
For our first ever session, BOKS ran on Tuesdays and Thursdays with great success! Not only did the enthusiasm spread throughout the program but also in the classroom and at home. Many parents shared that now the entire family participates in some kind of physical activity outside the BOKS program. One parent said “I see a change in my daughter, she has more energy to perform her school responsibilities.” The feedback on teachers surveys indicate that the children love the program: ”Students love the activities and look forward to the “BOKS” day”.
We look forward to our second session in the spring!
